Blu-ray DVD to Roku player

Roku manufactures a variety of digital media receivers that allow customers to access internet streamed video or audio services through televisions. As a California-based company that sells digital media products, on March 5, 2013, Roku announced the release of their updated media player, Roku 3, with a CPU that's five times faster than the Roku 2 XS, and a Wi-Fi Direct remote in place of Bluetooth.
Even though Roku streaming player can be used to play delicate games on TV and can work as home player to watch HD videos online.  Here, I would like to introduce the proper way to play on it your favorite videos stored in a hard disc or computer through the usb port.
Tips : 1. the Roku 3 can play several different formats as MP4/M4V  and MKV in as high as 1080p resolution.  So you should notice the resolution and formats of your source files.
2. You’ll need a HD TV set and a Roku player HDMI cable (sold separately) and most importantly a video converter for you to transfer your source files into .mp4 or .mkv formats
Even though it is very convenient for people to watch HD movies on Blu-ray DVD player at home, there are also disadvantages of the device, the ROM often go broken easily  what’s worse the quality of the images in Blu-ray DVD is declining. So in order to preserve the highest quality of the movie many people tend to rip the Blu-ray DVDs into different formats so that they can restore videos in hard discs. Among them the most frequently used lossless format is .mkv which can play perfectly on Roku player.
Then I’ll instruct you how to use the software  blu-ray DVD to Roku Ripper to rip videos into your Roku player.
1.       Open  your aiseesoft  Blu-ray Ripper
2.       Register after your download it online before you can use it properly
3.       Set up the preferences and the target folders you want to put your outputs into.

4.       Click button “load BD/DVD “ after you have put into your Blue-ray DVD

5.        Click Drop-down list in “Profile” to set video formats you want to convert into (1080 resolution, mkv ) for example.
6.       Choose “HD video” then to “HD mkv video fromat”
7.       Click “convert” you’ll get a video in a short while
8.       Find your video in the destination and copy it to your computer
This done
 Connect your player
1.       Use a HDMI cable to make the connection depicted in the diagram below

Connect one end to the HDMI port on the back of your Roku player
Connect the other end to an open HDMI port on your TV
You don’t need to connect several cables to the TV because HDMI outputs both digital video and audio.
2.       Power up your Roku remote by inserting the included batteries
           3.       Power on your Roku player by connecting it to a wall outlet using the power adapter,

4.       Power on your TV and look for a Roku message to fill the screen.
5.       Connect your hard disc which contains your .mkv videos to Roku player’s  usb port

B showed in the picture above refers to the usb port of Roku player.
Then you can watch your Blu-ray videos on a Roku player.
